THE CLUB
PRESENTATION
CA Balma, much more than a club... A real Tribe!
the CA BALMA is an athletics club, the first Olympic sport. It has always remained faithful to its history and has remained an autonomous club (not belonging to any "agreement"), now one of the few in France.
Over the decades, it has become one of the very first clubs in the Occitanie region, and remains one of the three most important French autonomous clubs.
Our adventure is written every day, our hopes are high and our ambitions are great...

- Some wood (Wood of Lagarde, of the Archbishops, of Préserville), perfectly cleaned and equipped with routes for trailers, runners and crossmen of the club and the city of Balma;
- A second track, 200m, inside the Parc de Lagarde, in the middle of the wood.
THE ORANGE STAFF : THE TECHNICAL AND ADMINISTRATIVE TEAM
They are ALL volunteers!
The specificity of CA BALMA Athletics, lies in the fact that it is managed by volunteers still active: all practice athletics.
They are over 50 volunteers - coaches and leaders together - and take part in the development of the club, of its tribe, through various commissions (training, of course, but also sponsorship, events, communication...). They are present, 1 to 6 times a week , to help the progress of the athletes in their group, to share their passion and to live it fully within the club.
The progress and sporting performance of our athletes are all successes to which volunteers must be associated. They work tirelessly, day after day, in the shadows and in an increasingly consumerist context, to offer quality support to Athletics and Running enthusiasts. We can see them busy daily in the organization of training, travel, the organization of events and beyond the purely sporting aspect, in social and educational support for the athlete.
Would you like to join the team as a volunteer?
